KTN RS3 250

Hello everyone. Excited waiting for new year? Me too. And this might be my last post for this year. And my post is about KTN RS3. It has another names in different countries. For example, in China they call it Zhong Shen 250. In United Kingdom they call is Cyclone RX3, and United State of America has another name but I can't catch up that name. Forgot already. But in Malaysia, we call it KTN RS3.

(You can use it for long distance.)

(Or off road adventures)

This is the bike that we can call a sport touring bike. It can be used in urban ride, and off road rides. Built in China, this machine has capability to produces at least 25 horsepower for displacement 250cc. Has single cylinder, four stroke, four valve, liquid coller and total weight could be around 170 kg.

In Malaysia, they opened price for the market is RM12,800. Additional RM500 you can get Engine Guard, 3 boxes, and wind shield. So all price including insurance and road tax could be RM14,000 and for Sabah and Sarawak its gonna be around RM16,000. But its the cheapest sport touring bike for this moment. I can see it from mudah.my. And I hope the spare parts are easier to find here.

(Here are the spec for the bike. Click for better view)

So all we can do is wait until it came here. once this sport touring bike came at my place, I promise I gonna give my review about this. But for this time, just wait. Until next time everyone. Safe ride, and Happy New Year.

Before that, here is my final photo for this year. A girl with KTN RS3.

REVIEW: A Day With Skyline 200

Today's weather is sure fine. And I was having a chances to ride with my dad's Demak Skyline 200. Actually its a loan for me to ride it today, since my dad haven't ride it a few days. So while riding, cruising, and taking to work, here my review about this bike.

First, its a bike that easy to ride. I can use it for daily use. Not like other super bikes, Skyline 200 have good mode for urban ride, even if stuck in traffic jammed. If you using standard exhaust, the sound are good and not too loud.

Second is about the style. While I ride it, most people at city look at me. Wow, I got such a nice fans around here. Of cause this is not as much as Kawasaki Z800, but this bike gives me satisfaction and its also very very comfortable to ride, either solo ride or you having babe at your back.

Third one here about pick up speed. It has good accelaration, also a decent top speed for 200cc. This speed makes you wont fall back by other bikers on convoy, or if too much mat-rempit showing off to you at traffic light, its time to smoke them.

Last but not least. Skyline 200 easier to maintain. Also cheaper for the maintaining cost. Only needs one litter for engine oil, and fual for full tank just RM15 if you using RON95. By the way, this bike suitable for RON95, instead of RON97.

Now we moved to the disadvantages. Of caused every bike has pros and cons here. So this is just review, so if I wrote anything wrong, please feel free to tell me. Now, the first one is, Skyline 200 has lame top speed. Its only has 5 speed of transmission. So the top speed can be reached is just 140 kph. If you need more speed, this is not the bike you looking for. I suggest you to take a super bike instead.

Problem with certain parts. Most Demak's bikes has this problem. Carburetor . Most my friends who ride Skyline, has encounters this on 5th months after purchasing this bike. But at least this has a lot of improvement, since Demak DZM 200, the model berfore Skyline 200, encounters alo and a lot of Carburetor problems. I notice this while we having ride. Whenever my friend stops, their engine dies. Has to start again. Its the carburetor.

Now it's time for me to go home, but now I have to go car wash to clean it up before returning it to my dad. So that's all my personal review about the Skyline 200. Okey so if you need a bike to daily use, Demak Skyline 200 is a good choice. But if you looking for speed, take a super bike, not this Skyline 200. I hope a can give you more review after this. So see you next ride. Have a nice day.

Christmas Eve, Ride with Santa

Hahaha. Actually there is no Santa at all. Its just our ride took on the night of 24th December 2014, the night before Christmas, and the call it Christmas Eve..
The night start with a dinner at Halimah Nasi Kamdar, located on Harbour City, Kota Kinabalu. Most riders tonite are Demak DZM 200's riders. Only a few that not Demakians riders. by the way, tonite I also Demakians rider since I'm riding my dad's Demak Skyline 200. Hehe...

 (I'm test ride my friend's Superbike R1)

Then we ride up to Tangjung Lipat, located at Likas Beach. Together we took photos that night, before we continue ride again...

Done wasting time here, we moved up to Wawasan Plaza. Its not really a place to stay, but to be exact, we stopped at the traffic light junction. A bad place to stay. But actually we are helping our friend who has jammed his engine on the traffic light junction. But we do stay here for a while..

(Its me again, with the R1, eheee)

That all for last night. But during the Christmas Day, there are no rides at all, but I saw a lot of big bikers staying at Tanjung Aru.

There are Ducati, kawasaki Ninja, Yamaha R1, Kawasaki Z800 and Z250. Well, beach sure crowded but at least its not boring out there. I guess that's all for today. Safe ride and have a nice day~

Ducati Day Event

Hello, but first HAPPY 10,000th visitors! Yeah, for over 6 months finally I manage to get over 10,000 visitor. kinda hard work for me. And plus I was busy almost all the time. But still manage to blog and visiting any motor sport events around Sabah.
Ducati Day Show was held at Kota Kinabalu Waterfront, from 12th December 2014 until 14th of December 2014. There are big promotion and cash rebate for those who purchasing during the Ducati Day Event. If you not planning to do any purchasing, you always welcome here. There is  a Question and Answer here. Also a test drive unit for those who need to feel the power of Ducati. And this event is fully organized by Inti Deras, the biggest Superbike Dealer around Sabah and Labuan.
There are a lot of Ducati model to display here. There are Ducati Panigale 899, Ducati Hyper Strada, Ducati Multi Strada, Ducati Monster, Ducati Street Fighter  and Ducati Diavel. The Ducati Panigale is really seems nice to me. I tested it, and this kinda most advance super bike. Even it has clutch, but you can set it to semi auto. Not just that, you can adjust the horse power. Its keyless, and fully computerize super bike. How I wish I can own this in one day.
(Maybe one  day, who knows right)

There are a lot of super bike come here. This event ha non stop visitor from time to time. I hope there will be another event like this.

And this some merchandise that sold and that event. Cost very expensive but the quality are the best.

And these are another photo from event.

Last but not least, a chicks with Ducati Panigale 899. AWESOME.

Hare Scrambler Race

Hallo there, I know this is a lil bit late, but I have been busy for last 3 weeks. No time to blog at all, but I do have time to attend this awesome event. A Hare Scramble Race. This event occurs on 29 - 30 of November 2014.
When we reached here, the weather here are so damn hot! But its okey. This Hare Scramble Race is organized by INTI Deras Motor. The qualification day is on 29 of November and the Final is 30 November 2014. There are two categories on this challenge. 150cc and below and 150cc and above.
So let's not talk much. Let the photos do the rest!

(Me and Suzi, the Megelli model if you still remember)

(My cuzzy, with his Motard Bike)

(A Vernyss Spotted!)

(My cuzzy fall from bike during on the way to off road track)

(This are some bikes that spotted on the day!)

(My cousin is going to try to make this challenge. Good luck, bro!)

(This is the starting point, also the finish line)

( Did you see that? Its BMW KS1200! )

(He started at young age!)

(The most right is a rider from Ireland, and on his journey to around the Borneo. He uses the BMW KS1200)

(The BMW KS1200 is purchased at INTI Deras, and reached 1200 km of mileage , in just a week.)

(Those Marshal are using ATV)

Okey, here is how they handle this event. They started at the starting line, cross over the challenging off road, meet the wet uphill, and lastly, the enduro. The named it ENDURO because its much challenging.

1. The STARTING LINE

2. The OFF ROAD CHALLENGE

3: The WET UPHILL

4. And lastly,the ENDURO.

Enduro is the finish line for this challenge. After they clear the enduro, they will be at the starting line again for another round. That's all. simple, but challenging. Here are the other's photo that I captured!

That's the good parts. But after this, is the moment when the fall from bike, failed to climb or pass any wet surfaces. So enjoy. But none of them are suffering heavy injury during the fall. Marshall did they job. Helping rider to pass if they are stucked, and help them if they fall.

(This are those bike who having trouble to continue)

As you can see, the Little Italy is one of those sponsors for this event. And the picture below are the marshals doing they job. They riding ATV to reach any riders that stuck at wet surface, or those who need help.

As you can see, this is the champion for category 150cc and below. He riding a Kawasaki KLX150. A bike that surely for off road. I never get any chance to interview him but seem we are all tired, we decided to go home. These are photos I capture before I go back.

These are some of the bikes that used on this event.

On our back, there are rider still wondering around, and he got fall. But.. he's fine....

My bro messing with my cousin's Motard..

(And we found a DUKE, so the mess with it.)

(What most important is SELFIE!)

This event was so fun, and I hope we can have this kind of event in another days. Remember to support Malaysian Motorsport! Have a nice day. PEACE~
