BMW G310R Coming To Malaysia

Conceived entirely from scratch, BMW says the G310R is designed specifically for the world market and is able to run on the most diverse fuel qualities. Typically BMW in its design with a hulking fuel tank, modern character lines, the BMW G310R has an non-mistake visual kinship with its family members. The small headlamp is a nod to the new R models but the overall size of the bike is like no other BMW before it. In fact it feels more like one of the smaller Kawasaki models, but that is not a bad thing.

(Comes with 3 variants)

The official launch for Malaysian Motorsport event is said to be happening sometime in March. But there are alreadysome post on www.mudah.my by a dealer of BMW Motorcycles has welcomed a 20% down payment on the G310R with deliveries expected to begin in June this year. As for the price, there has been no clear indication of that but there is word from a recent dealer conference that prices are set to begin from RM25,000 up till RM30,000 with a long list of accessories set to take those prices up higher should you wish to do so.

(Motard or Naked bike, This BMW is sure affordable for those who loves adventures)

Once introduced, the new G310R model will take on the likes of the KTM 250 and the 390, Kawasaki Z300, the Yamaha MT-03 and others.   The G310R will be the most affordable BMW motorcycle ever, and is powered by an all-new 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with four valves and two overhead camshafts together with electronic fuel injection.

So, if you still thinking about starting bike, or updrading from 200cc, this is the bike that you should looking for. Its BMW man. Everyone knows it. Every girl loves it. Hahaha.

(Thanks for reading this yaa. I see you next ride!)

Valentine Night Ride

So, for year 2016, Valentine Day is on Weekend. Then, what's you gonna spend your Saturday's Night? Hahahaha. Of course with your love one! But for those who single, our loves one is the bike. And how we gonna spend time is by riding cruising Kota Kinabalu.

(1st meet, the AIRPORT? What a great place to meet anyway..hahaha)

Next stop, Lintas. We stop here after test speed. Some of them has done some modification on their bike. So this is the best time to test it out.

Chow first! See you next stop!

Next stop is Art Building. Its near Suria Shopping Mall. It was the building that burnt on 1996 actually. But people call here as Art Building. Maybe because of there are lots of Graffiti  here.

That is how Art Building looks like. And this is us, hanging out here.

We here spent at least one hour. Then we check each others bike. See what kind of modification they did, and planning our next ride. Before going home at 3 a.m., we stop at 7 Eleven first. Thirsty, man....

That's all. Thanks for reading you all. Happy Valentine Day! Sorry for late post. It is not Valentine anymore, =.=". Hahaha. See you next ride!

REVIEW Yamaha YZF 1000 Thunderace- LEGENDARY

Legendary. This is a fine tagline for this Yamaha YZF 1000 Thunder Ace. The owner of this bike is Uncle Bob, and thanks to him, I allowed to do review for this bike. Yamaha YZF Thunder Ace 1000 is a previous version of Yamaha YZF R1. Before there is R1 hits the street, it was Thunder Ace. Thunder Ace last production was at 2001, and that is the first time, Yamaha R1 was introduced.

This is where my review starts. I am at Kudat Federal Road, located 200 km from Kota Kinabalu. This road has really long line, enable me to ride this bike to her maximum speed. The first rev, I can see the acceleration is quite good. In fact, this bike can go much faster than Ducati 1199 Panigale.

And then when top speed was fine to, except this bike only has 5 gears. FIVE! Its looks like this bike can go more speed if it has 6th gear. But beside from that, its all good. The body kit can give you more aerodynamic while you riding closer to top speed. The wind shield is good enough to to give more wind resistant.

OVERALL REVIEW
  1. Top Speed
Top speed was a bit down. Its not that the top speed is lame, but since its just has  gear transmission, so the top speed won't be enough to me.
  2. Acceleration
Good. Real good. A 1000 cc of bike that can reach 100 kph, just 3.3 seconds.

  3. Quality
Good Yupz, old bike has best quality. The fairing material, the engine  components, everything is at the fine quality. Trust me.
  4. Price
Best. Its just like too little money for too much bike. With spending around Rm 10,000.000 ++, you can get this bike for you.
  5. Maintenance
Good, Well, you know the risk of purchasing classic bikes right. Always has some risk there. No matter how good the condition when you purchase it, the problem always comes later. But since its using carb, I guess its easier for you to maintain it.

So remember. Some of older bikes are usually more powerful than modern one. Since they are using carb, which is much faster than using EFI, and the engine setting was very simple for you to tune it. But, with this limited kind of bike, you always know the spare parts are usually not ready stock, especially the engine compartments.
But far from that, these old bikes like Yamaha Thunder Ace 1000, are fun to ride. With long lines or relaxing ride, the are look beautiful. Even though Yamaha Thunder Ace is not well-known and famous like Yamaha YZF R1, but this bike still has her own legendary to tell those young riders!

See you next ride~

Love the spec of the bike? If you are beginner bikers, and you looking for a bike from 200 cc to 500 cc, this should be one of your list. In fact, if you looking for best sound, this is the bike that you looking for. Why? Because this bike is just 2 cylinders, but has sound like 3 cylinders of bike. Watch this.

(Video Credit: Vikas Rachamalla)

After spending hours watching 10+ video again and again, I come oout with my own passion about this bike.

PROS:
  1. SOUND
No doubt, this is the best 2 cylinders sound ever. It has 3 cylinders sound. And with right exhaust, this bike can be same as 4 inline (Except not loud as 4 inline).
  2. RELIABLE BRAND
This Benelli is the oldest motorcycle company in Italy. Even thought the company is own by  China firm, but the productions and materials are came all the way from Italy.
Also, this Benelli has good review too. Even from Awie said this bike is quite reliable to riders.

  3. PRICE
This is the part that I love most. RM 18,800.00, this bike is way cheaper than  Kawasaki Z250. Where else you can get 300 cc of of bike with this price?
  4. BOTH CITY AND LONG RIDE
Built to handle high temp, this bike is suitable for long distant ride, also a city cruising. So, it doesn't matter if you wanted for a weedays ride, or a weekend ride, this bike will do for you.

CONS
  1. SPARE PARTS
Well, this is the worst part when you need and ASAP parts when your bike in trouble. Not much spare parts here in Malaysia. Even the air filter and oil filter can be use Kawasaki's, but some major parts like engine or electronic stuff require you to order it. You won't get it easily from store, or dealler.
  2. NO GEAR INDICATOR
This is not a porblem espacially for most experienced riders. But this is 300 cc bike. It means, more newbie beginner riders are using this than the expereinced one. So the gear indicator are might be important to them. Even myself prefer a bike that has gear indicator.
  3. NO ABS
For most cases, ABS does save lives! ABS makes you able to control your bike when you hit brake hard. Too bad this bike is not featuring ABS. SO to stay safe, don't ride faster than you can stop.

Limited Edition: Green Color of Variant.

Thanks for reading. Have a nice ride~
