Yamaha R1M VS Kawasaki H2R

 

      2015. In the early year, born two super powerful super bike. The Kawasaki H2R and the rival, Yamaha R1M. Both are 1000 cc of engine displacement, and both claims the best for ride and speed. But what say you? The 300 horsepower supercharged Kawasaki H2R, or the street legal Moto GP super bike? I just give you the information, but you do the maths.

Claimed to be the world to be fastest super bike, Kawasaki H2R

            Alright, let's us start with Kawasaki H2R. Kawasaki H2R is a Supercharged Supersport Motorcycle thath manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries> Kawasaki H2R featuring a variable speed centrifugal-type supercharger. With 300 horse power, Kawasaki H2R claimed manage to goes at least 400-420 kph, theoretically. It means more power produced than her nearest rival, Suzuki Hayabusa which is only can go around 312-321 kph.

          In 2015, a new Kawasaki H2 produced, for street legal.Same with Kawasaki H2R, both motorcycle shares the same supercharge, but with lowest boost level for H2. By only has 200 kph, the price of Kawasaki H2 in Malaysia is around RM 300,000.00. Which is the most expensive superbike in this country.

The best bike for fastest cornering, the Yamaha R1M

           Alright! Now let's move to Yamaha R1M. Yamaha is the Moto GP super bike that built for street legal.  New generation of R1 was announced on 3 November 2014. Yamaha claims power of over 200 horse power and numerous new electronic rider aids.

         For the first time, a second higher-specification model will also be produced dedicated to the track called the R1M. The R1M will be limited in a number of 500, and it will be differentiated from the standard model by having more expensive components such as carbon fibre fairing parts, an aluminium fuel tank, magnesium sump, tappet and two side covers help keep the weight down, lighter weight wheels are also fitted.

       Increased electronic package, which includes self adjusting Ohlins suspension at both ends, and built-in GPS data logging, variable race style traction control. Engine changes include shortened bore to stroke ratio, and for the first time on a registerable bike, fracture split titanium conrods are included

     The left one is Yamaha R1m, and the right one is Kawasaki Ninja H2R. Yup, to me the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is way more big. And of course way more speed. But me personally, I like Yamaha R1, but not Yamaha R1M. If in this case  I will go for Kawasaki H2R. 

    So we know that Kawasaki Ninja H2 already in Malaysia but not Yamaha R1M, too bad, since it is limited production (500 units available only) so I guess we only can see the H2 roaming on our street. Yamaha R1M - Fastest R1 Ever Built

   In yearly of 2015, we all waited the introduction of Kawasaki Ninja H2R. But, don't you know that Yamaha also introduced the rival for Kawasaki Ninja H2R, the brand new Yamaha R1M. What can I say, is this is the fastest Yamaha R1 ever built, and the closest Moto GP bike for legal road.

What's new about Yamaha R1M? R1M features

• Premium Ohlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS)Communication Control Unit (CCU) - Data logger and; vehicle info via Wi-Fi
• Wider 200 series rear tire (200/55 ZR17)
• Carbon fiber front fender and fairing
• Polished and; clear coated aluminum fuel tank (unpainted)
• Polished and; clear coated aluminum swing arm (unpainted)

       Remember when people said 'Beauty Outside, Beast Inside'? This is what they means. Yamaha R1 has beauty face lift, but the engine has awesome speed. But more of all, it has unlimited passion while you riding it at full speed.

     About the chassis and frame, Yamaha R1 following the previous method. Using diamond frame, but this time the quality has been improved. This kind of frame is light weight but manage to support the weight of 1000CC size of engine. 

       What about the control? The weight is below 200 kg. Its super light for 1000 cc of engine. So, the weight gives you the acceleration advantages. R1 move faster than any 1000 cc and above that heavier than her. The cornering also give you the best pleasure. as long you using wide tyre, the cornering won't give you much trouble.

      Conclusions? The new Yamaha R1M is the some kind of Moto GP Super Bike that legal road. So if you wish to get the Yamaha R1M, well,start learn how to ride. Because what I have heard, Yamaha R1 is not for beginner, or inexperience bikers. She is for pro.

     Malaysia has no news about the new coming Yamaha R1M yet, but for sure, if she comes here, her cost is tooo expensive. And she is the close rival for Kawasaki H2R. Check www.mudah.my for survey the price if this bike has come to Malaysia.

Yamaha R1

       Hello, its been a while for my last post. Hell yeah, its really a slow month for January. I only posted 4 entries, where its never happened before. Hahaha. I was so busy. Tell you the truth I will engage soon.

     But its not about me that I want to share here, but I would like to share about my dream super bike, where I gonna buy this in two or three months from now. Its Yamaha R1. There are no new bike for the model that I wanted, but you always can find one on recon bike shop. I already found one. In fact, I booked it. So next time you see someone riding Yamaha R1 on Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, that's could  be me.

      This Yamaha R1 comes with three different colors and two versions. Red, Blue, and Black for the colors. For the version, Yamaha R1 comes with Raven and Sterilgalda.

            Okey, now why I'm picking this super bike Yamaha R1? Frist, its about the face lift Yamaha R1 has among best design since early 2000's. And not to mention, speed too. Yamaha R1 now in 6th place of Top Ten Fastest Super Bike in the world.

           The engine is not as big as other super bike. She's only has 999cc of engine displacement. Unlike Hayabusa, and Kawasaki ZX14R, which is 1400cc. Yamaha R1 produces 188 of horse power. So don't talk about speed out here. Small engine, big power. Hayabusa and Kawasaki ZX4R are fastest than R1, but their engine are way too big. I mean that could make you tired if you stucked at traffic. Yamaha R1 is much lighter. The weight base is just around 190kg.

        Then, the price also good. the new one cost you RM 100,000. But you always can find recon or second hand. The recon cost you RM 60,000 and second hand ones can be found around RM 30,000 and above. 

       And last the, its about the community. Yamaha R1 has a lot of group in Malaysia. so you don't need to worry about having new friends. They are ready to share you any info, and giving you any help whenever you having trouble with you Yamaha R1. And soon, I will have this bike on my hand. Ready for the sound limbo.
