Malaysian Top 5 Beginner Superbike

In Malaysia, there are always a new beginner rider, every single day. Even from mat-rempit can turned to a super bike rider. For beginners, you are recommended to start a super bike with 250cc, as a learner bike. A big bikes like Kawasaki Z1400rr, Ducati 1149, or Yamaha R1, takes special skills to handle, and a lot of experience to keep your 100++ horsepower beast on street. Otherwise, accident can happends. Some of it, lead to fatal result.
But not to scare the hell out of you. here some good info for those who wish to start a new life, as a big big biker.
  1. Naza Blade 250r

Naza Blade is a 250cc motorcycle, 4-stroke engine with 70 degree of V-Twin. Liquid cooled and has only 5 speed of transmission.
Naza Blade is a Korean super bike, called Hyosung GTR, and assembled at Malaysia. These model encounters a lot of complaints due to a lot of problems in earlier models. But now day models seems have a lot of improvement.
To me, Blade are useful for daily use. As its easier to maintain, fuel save, and can be ridden in urban traffic. But if you have extra budgets, I suggest you to look over another models of super bikes.
By the way, if you are Ducati die hard fans, but cannot afford to own one, then you should buy this Blade. In Malaysia, a lot of riders converted their Naza Blade to 1199 Ducati. Nice touch!

  2. KTM Duke 200

KTM Duke is a 200cc of sport bike. It is a single cylinder with Double Overhead Cam. Liquid Cooler and has 6 speed of transmission
If you are looking a multi-purpose bike, for urban and offroad, KTM 200 is your answer. This euro-design super bike has a lot of dans in Malaysia. If you are beginner, this bike is what you should ride. But if you are planning to upgrade, KTM also provides models like Duke 390 and 690. You can upgrade the engine, without change the face of you bike.

Honda CBR250R is a 4 stroke Double Overhead Cam engine. Single cylinder, EFI, and the close rival to Kawasaki Ninja 250r. She has 6 speed of transmission.
This could be yours if you wanted a reliable motorcycle for long time. A 250r of superbike is suitable for urban daily use. So if you own this cheap but good quality super bike, youu can use it for daily use or weekend use. Most review and feedback from Honda CBR user, they said this super bike are comfortable for long distance ride. So, add this on your list if you don't have any super bike yet!

  4. Kawasaki Z250
Naked version of Ninja 250r, Four stroke, twin parallel cylinders Double Overhead Cam, liquid cooled, and has 6 speed of transmission.
As you see, this street fighter is real dynamic and aggressive as combination of Kawasaki z750, z800, and z1000's concept, for design that more to urban. This Z250 has exact spec like Kawasaki Z250, except this is naked versions.

  5. Kawasaki Ninja 250rr

Kawasaki Ninja 250r, Four stroke, twin parallel cylinders Double Overhead Cam, liquid cooled, EFI, and has 6 speed of transmission.
This is the expensive 250cc in Malaysia. Also the number 1 250cc in Malaysia. Ninja 250r, the people's choice. This is very suitable for beginner. Has good on both speed and style. Yeah, could be expensive but reliable. The older generation are still using Carburator, but latest models are all using EFI. Malaysian Police (PDRM) in Traffic Division, using Kawasaki Ninja 250r as their Pursuit Unit. So, how bout it? Made up your mind?
