First of all, Happy New Year to all of you riders! May this year brigs you great fortune (or great bike too)! Second, huge respect and congratulation to Peminat Dua Roda who just successfully organizing Sabah Moto Day 2.0. This means, that this is the second time they manage to organize this kind of big event. And this time, its located at Padang Kawat, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
We got plenty of bikers and groups that came from all over the Borneo. Yeah even sarawakians and Bruneians bikers came here all along just to support this event! Even most of them are Scooter and Kapcai bike, we got some big bikes too. It doesn't matter what bike you ride, this event makes all of us as one big family.
Event starts at 8.00 a.m.where all bikers gather around in each category. First category is Scooter, followed by second is EX5, Modenas and other 4 stroke cup bikes. The third is for all Yamaha 125z riders, and followed by the 4th one, is Yamaha RXZ. Final category is for all big bikers!
At 10.00 am there is a competition for most ranggi (flamboyant) bikers (male and female riders). There only 3 categories for this competition, which is 4 stroke, 2 stroke and superbike. Start 11.00 onwards, the real fun begins. There are another 3 competitions;

- Fastest installation of tires
- Slowest Bike Racing.
Afternoon, the organizer rating those team with most members and most ranggi (flamboyant).
At two o'clock in the afternoon, we listen to a safety briefing from JPJ. Official Launching was held at 3 pm, and launched by Dato Tawfiq Hj Abu Bakar Titingan, Minister of Youth and Sports. Prize presentation was also held. Souvenirs also given to the agencies involved and to the Council.
The last event was the lucky draw at 4 pm, and the event is completely done at 6 p.m. Whats special of this event compared last year, we got Dyno Test brought by Aruz. You can Dyno your bike here regardless what kind of bike that you have, Aruz will able to show you the real performance rating for your bike. The horsepower and the maximum torque.
I really like all those hard work they done to make this event successful. I hope they will organize this kind of event another time. We, as bikers, no matter what kind of bike you ride, how big your engine is, always respect each other, and show supports on this kind of event. Safe ride everyone. And Happy New Year!
